Kimberly Laudin, LMHC – Founder and Psychotherapist
My name is Kimberly Laudin. I founded Nassau Counseling Services and have an amazing team that works with me to provide ongoing support for patients like you that are ready to experience better mental health and wellness.
I was educated at LIU, and obtained my Bachelors of Science in Psychology before obtaining a masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. I have been a therapist for over 10 years, specializing in several mental health issues, including eating disorders, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, depression, self-esteem issues, and other challenges related to disordered eating and body dysmorphia.
I am a safe space and advocate for those in the LGBTQ+ community and can support those that need LGBTQ+ affirming care or help with non-traditional relationships. I utilize a variety of therapy techniques including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. Abigail Agostino, LMHC-LP – Mental Health Counselor
My name is Abigail Agostino. I am a NYS Certified School Psychologist with 7 years of experience working with students, families, and educators. I believe in creating a supportive environment that fosters emotional growth and academic success.
I have an LMHC-LP (Licensed Mental Health Counselor – Limited Permit). I have a passion for helping others, especially children, teens/adolescents, and young adults. I provide support, interventions, and a listening ear to clients with a variety of mental health issues in and outside of the school setting.
My background includes extensive experience working with anxiety disorders, school related mental health issues, behavioral concerns, learning disabilities, eating disorders, self-esteem, and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD).
Using a flexible and multifaceted approach to therapy, I implement the most effective methods to find the root of beliefs and make the connections to fully understand the problem. My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices that prioritize the unique needs of each individual. I utilize a variety of techniques including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Vicclayra Abreu, LMHC – Mental Health Counselor
My name is Vicclayra Abreu. I am a bilingual counselor (English/Spanish) with over 6 years of experience working with couples, families and individuals of all age groups.
I believe it is important we take care of our mental health in hopes of living a healthier life, and I believe therapy should make you feel comfortable in order to allow you to be open and honest which will in turn help you achieve your goals.
